Alice in Wonderland Palette Review

Hey guys! Wow i feel like i have been posting a lot, but this i'm really excited about!

Its the new urban decay book of shadows, the Alice in Wonderland palette! ;D I have been wanting to get my hands on a book of shadows for a long time and i finally have, and even better this one has beautiful packaging yay!

Here are some pictures for you, even though I'm sure you have seen this already, a lot of people have been reviewing it. My images aren't great because of lighting but i didn't want to wait until tomorrow!

I am so happy with this palette! The colours aren't to crazy bright, like with my Urban Decay Deluxe Palette, although not all neutral, much more wearable. The quality is great as all of you who are familiar with Urban Decay products will know.

All of these colours are original UD colours, just renamed so if you already have another book of shadow or a lot of shadows from UD, this might not interest you too much.

The palette is limited edition and only avaliable from Debenhams. When i checked, it was sold out on the website but keep checking it might come back in stock! Or check your Debenhams store if you can.
People are selling them on eBay but don't get ripped off! This palette costs £28 new, but with some clever searching i found some discount for debenhams.com and got some money off.

I hope to post some looks with these colours soon! :)

What do you want to see?

So, my original plan for this blog was beauty related stuff, but I feel like its all over the place now. Not that I don't want to post about beauty but everyone and there mother is doing that now and I what I have to offer is nothing special I guess?

I think I am going to keep doing Things I Love Thursday (see below post) Because i enjoyed writing that! And I will try to get beauty related posts up. I know this is my blog and I will write what I want to write about, but I am writing with the idea that people are, maybe, hopefully reading this! So what do you want to see? What posts do you enjoy reading?

There is something in the post for me, or should be in the post for me soon! And i will definetly be reviewing that! I am so excited for it!

Leave a comment and let me know your thoughts! :)

In and Out!

Sorry no blog post for a while but feel like doing one now..
In and Out's for the past few weeks shall we say? (As i am rubbish at posting regularly!)
Sorry it's not much beauty related.

In.

Getting exams over and done with and nearly getting past all coursework and essay deadlines! Feels like a weight off my shoulders.

Opi's Alice in Wonderland collection! I am in love. I think i might do a review, even though loads of people have, I just love the colours so much!
I am currently sporting Barry M navy blue colour with Opi's Mad as a Hatter over the top! Beautiful!

My new favourite CD is LIGHTS! The Listening. I suggest everyone goes and checks out her music on myspace or something, i love it, it's so calming yet upbeat :)

Radical Self Love!! (HERE)

Out.

Cold weather :( It is just getting on my nerves now and i never usually mind winter much.

Finding out exactly how limited Urban Decay's Alice in Wonderland palette is going to be.. 2000 is not enough to go around.

Tanning.. After watching The Truth About Tanning on BBC's iPlayer i'm staying away from sun as much as possible! Go watch it, its very good!

Everything is going to be alright!

Nearly 2 months since i posted. Really? Time really does go past too quickly lately, which as much as I put down to simply getting older and growing up, i don't feel like i'm older, even though obviously am, and i really don't feel i have grown up much.

As it's the end of the year, people will start to look back on 2009. I have already done so, and have come to the conclusion.. it was rather rubbish. Nothing particularly bad happened, but i think that's why i'm not satisfied with what i have been doing because i have been doing almost nothing! Nothing has changed in a long time and I know a lot of people don't like change, but sometimes I think its good.

Let's take small changes, the other day i rearranged the furniture in my room, its made more space and i'm very happy with it, it was a good change. I was going to give an example of change in my life, something more significant but i really can't think of anything right now.

I never normally make really serious new years resolutions because i know i can never keep them, but i have been reading on blogs (in particular galadaring) and i am for once looking forward to the future and planning what I want to do. At the moment, as i may have mentioned before, i am in college doing my A levels and i hate it, but in about 6 months time it will be over and i will be wondering what i got so stressed about. ;]

So what am i going to do after college? I'm definitely not going to university, that's for sure. I don't think uni is for me, simple as. I'm sure some people think i am crazy, and i have felt that my tutors at college are really pushing me to go, but why? Its not the only option.

So change is going to happen in 2010 whether i like it or not, and in the past i always got scared and worried and panicked about what i am going to do next, but this time i am actually excited about it!

How do you feel about change?

Lush Star Melt Review

So what do i do when im feeling blue?

I have a lush bath of course :) a week or so ago, i went shopping and popped in lush to get a face mask and check out the christmas goods. I ended up picking up star melt.

This is a bath melt. You just throw this star under a running tap and let it melt its lovelyness into your bath.

I had a problem with a bath melt before, melting marshmellow moments, it didnt seem to do much and i was a bit unsure when i was putting my star melt in so i started with just 2 points of the star.

The bathwater looked slightly pink and started to smell good, actually smelt really really good. But then i decided it wasn't good enough and threw the rest of the bar in. Im normally really frugal with bubble bars, but this was just so small, it hardly seemed worth saving half.

The water turns a lovely delicate, opaque pink, smells like it full of sweets and leaves your skin feeling amazingly moisturised. You can almost feel the moisturiser in the water, its melty and so, so yummy :)

Would i purchase this again? Probably. It's left my skin feeling very, very soft and the scent is pretty much irresistible.
